Books, travel, and babies! Oh my!

So, a lot has happened since I last posted a journal. School is finally out, for one thing. Because of all the snowdays that my town had, we didn't get out until the twenty-sixth. e__e
Yeah. Not fun. But, I did like going to see my classes for next year. Unfortunately I have ~Asuka-in-a-Lunchbox in one class, *Impkish in two classes, and directed study with ~Todoka, then practically no one else. I'll just have to hope that I get good lunch periods or something. I'm looking forward to Chinese and AP Environmental Science the most, I think. But I do really need to get out of Creative Crafts. Sitting there for ninety minutes with a scary teacher, hoes, and having to buy my own materials for class? Screw that.

So, you know how MJ, Farrah Fosset, and Billy Mays died all in the same week? Wtf is with that? D: My little brother has to deal with that when he's older! Which leads me to this:

Benjamin, "Ben", was born on June 24, 2009, eight AM - 8 lbs 6 oz, 22 inches. I have yet to meet him since he's been at the hospital, but I'm leaving in a half hour to go visit him in Lori at home. I can't wait. :heart: Though, I'm half thinking I'll keep my distance until he's potty trained. xD I'm not a huge fan of new-borns just because I feel like I'm going to break them. Love little toddlers however. They're so adorable.

While cleaning my room last weekend, I found two twenty-five dollar gift cards to Borders, and I already had almost nine dollars on another one! :'D So yesterday, mum brought me to Borders to get my summer reading book and whatever else I wanted. I wanted this one book, but they didn't have it so I ended up grabbing Angels & Demons as summer reading book one. Then I found Marie Brennan has a sequal to Midnight Never Come called In Ashes Lie. I bought that and three other manga: Zombie-Loan volume one, God Child volume one, and Nightmare Inspector volume one. I have to say, God Child wasn't as good as I had hoped. I did enjoy Zombie-Loan, as I know I would because I've already read two volumes online. And Nightmare Inspector was great! I love it a lot and hope to go get the second volume soon.

On Thursday, I'll be gone for the weekend with a friend of mine. We're going out of state to her aunt's or something for Fourth of July. Fun!
